Without a picture I'm inclined not to believe you. Nothing personal it's more that I don't want to believe you. If I get cartoons in my box I am going to be pissed, the description I read said anime not animated.

I was already bummed out once today after rushing home to check my mailbox only to find it empty. If it had been full of crap ass Hanna Barbera I would have flipped.

Most of these individual volumes are the easy to find ones. The ones that are difficult to find are already sold out of stock, and are now fetching high prices in the after market.

I would purchase the current box of these (round 3) but reading this makes it an easy wait and see. I'd ask for a refund if I was told I'd receive 30 anime DVDs and then they sent me 30-non anime DVDs. There's a no refund policy but they can't use that to get away with false advertising.

I will post what I got as soon as I get the Round 1 stuff. All I am hoping for is some variety. A new series I haven't discovered or heard from.

I'm already in for two from previous rounds so I doubt I'll be getting any more but it'd be nice to know if it was worth it. I certainly don't expect to like everything but a few things from either box would be nice.

I've heard of a few of these. Appleseed is, of course, awesome. I've heard good things about X, Gun X Sword, and Gankutsuou. All in all, this was easily worth the $20 I paid for it.

edit: I just remembered that I had seen some of the Gantz anime. ...Yeah, it wasn't very good.

And it looks like araniowa and I got a lot of the same stuff.

I'm going to have to make some room on my shelves; I'm still waiting on my box from the first round, but I ordered one from the third round as well. Here's to hoping I don't get too many duplicates. But even if I do, I'll just hand them off to my brother. Either way, I can't get too disappointed.

Mind if I ask what state you live in? and how the package arrived? UPS/USPS/FEDEX ?
