Why so much? When there's really nothing to save? people would choose PC any day over PS3.

Playback has been significantly improved since launch, so props to you guys! I'm still glad you guys released it as-was since it was still an exciting treat. I'm thankful you're working so hard to make it the better.

Now after awhile of playback, I'll sometimes get the audio/video a little funky (just enough to notice) -- exiting out and back into crunchy typically helps it. Very occasional crash after a lot of use.

So far after deciding to give it another shot I've experienced:

A) After scrolling through series on Naruto Shippuuden menu.. it just crashed and screen went black. I had to turn off PS3 and restart it.
B) I watched a few episodes of Naruto, HxH just fine. (Quality did seem better, but I would still prefer 1080p as I watch on a 52in LCD HDTV)
C) Then I picked episode 1 of Gintama and it decided it would like to crash again. Only in this instance it took me back out to XMB screen instead of a black screen.

Using PS3 Slim 500GB HDD. (Was originally the 250GB model and I upgraded the HDD to 500)

Please fix before trial is over. :)

P.S. - I'm digging the sound quality. I like that it comes out as DD 5.1. The picture quality on Naruto was pretty good and HxH looked pretty decent as well. Naruto did seem to look better though.

I have been experiencing some pretty severe 'freezes' where the show will stop playing for 2-3 seconds every little while. Issue happens on Bleach, Saint Seiya, Sword Art Online, and Mystical Library of Dantalian(I believe that's the name) - Probably on others too, but those are the ones we watch

Have both a PS3 slim(Lightning Japanese special edition) and a PS3 classic(80GB) and it happens on both.
Use Shaw Cable for internet, with a Motorola Docsis 3 modem
One PS3 is wired, other is wireless, using Wireless N I believe
Internet max bandwidth is 50 Mbps


Edit:

I've also experienced several cases where the program has failed to load and the screen just stays black forever. ONce or twice I've had it COMPLETELY freeze on me where I had to crash the ps3. And I also rarely experience issues where the ps3 will randomly reset.

So I followed directions and downloaded 30day free trial on PS3. Created my acct and submitted credit card info. Now upon clicking on a movi, it asks me to become a premium member? Isnt that the whole point of the 30 day free trial? So I think to myself maybe I had an icorrect data entry on credit card but, when I re submitted, said that credit card was already used for a free trial. Now when I click on a movie again, it asks me to be a premium member for 14day free trial and prompts a credit card entry!?!?! WTFuck?!?! Explain admin at Crynchyroll!? Do you have an answer?

Yes I did. On the three options on the left, I clicked on log in. Then I entered my user and pass. Then it immediately asked me to become a premium member promoting the credit card entry screen. This was after confirming with crunchy roll that an acct was infancy set up successfully.

Using the application on my PS3 I can consistently get the crunchyroll application to crash (black screen, PS3 Beeps). When I go into a series' video list and scroll by season (using R2) the application crashes after scrolling through 5 seasons (ex: upon getting to Naruto Shippuden ep 113, or conversely hitting R2 Five times). This behavior is dangerous to the health of the hard drive as it will invoke a system crash of which the system needs to be restarted; if the hard drive is in use at the time then it's contents could be jeopardized.

I am a paid member.

Crashes happening on an Original 60G PS3 with a 500Gig hard drive. Connected via a Linksys WRT54G2 V1 on a 30/2 cable internet connection.

Should try deleting the app and redownloading then but first after you delete the app try going to settings activate video and games to ensure you can play it then redownload the app and try fresh login

This just started happening recently, but when I exit to my queue or when it goes to the next episode in the queue, the app crashes to a gray screen EVERY time. It is getting kind of annoying. I wonder if it could be the system version I updated to??

I have a FAT 60gig and it is on Wi-Fi, but I believe the internet connection has nothing to do with that.

any ideas when a new patch will be announced to fix the random crashing? I'm getting my PS3 back from Sony in a few weeks and would like to know if there's been any progress made.

also, any news on when an Xbox 360 release is happening? Or for that matter if there's going to be a Wii U, 3DS, or PSVita release in the near future?
