They planned to use Mina's exceptional special specimen power to save him but he turned her down so Lisara had to save him by separating her soul from her body to go after his soul. She did love him but believed he could only be saved by the power of Mina's love so she didn't want to confess her love earlier. She risks her life to save his. He mentions again at the end that he is destined to die. And she confesses her love, and they kiss. And they come back... From death. And Lisara is happy. But it doesn't end like that... As Ryousuke is Ryousuke. Ecchi! And Lisara doesn't like it that ecchi... So the harem continues.
