Most Underrated Anime in Existence?
|
This may not count, but FMA, or Fullmetal Alchemist in general. You almost NEVER hear people talk about this franchise, only Bleach and Naruto and Dragon Ball. Why the hell not!? This show is awesome!!! It's storytelling is so unparalleled thanks to not being long drawn-out or filled to the brim with filler............Watch the show yourself and see...........God, this show is AWESOME!!!!!!

Haibane Renmei this anime has a very neat world created for it and a great story.
I think it is one of the most under rated anime. Bleach is the longest anime on tv though one might be longer. |

It's talked about more than most shows. Don't know what you're talking about. catseyestiger wrote: Haibane Renmei this anime has a very neat world created for it and a great story. Lain, Texhnolyze, Kino's Journey, Cromartie, Shigurui, etc. also The longest anime on television and in history is around 1000+ episodes if I remember. It is Sazae-san with 6,600+ episodes since 1969 (still airing and in production too by the way). The second highest is Doraemon with 1787 episodes since 1979 (it ended in 2005 and is no longer in production). Out of the 'Big Three',if you count Naruto and Naruto Shippuden separately, One Piece is first with 579 episodes, Bleach is second with 366 episodes, Naruto Shippuden has 294 episodes, and Naruto has 220 episodes. But these three are trumped by Crayon Shin-Chan with 828 episodes and Detective Conan with 677 episodes. All of these except Bleach, Naruto, and Doraemon are still being produced and aired by the way. |

Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals
Why does everyone hate this anime, except me? The animation quality is quite good for its budget, it's really funny, and I find the setting engrossing. Some say because it's different than Final Fantasy 5, but I don't buy that for a second. Anyhoozle, I just dig it... trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etDZk4Fvp_I |

Sazae-san's number of episodes are often over-reported (Wikipedia being one offender), because people count the number of titles, not the number of aired episodes. Each aired episode consists of 3 titled segments (similar to Squid Girl, to cite an example CR viewers may be more familiar with). That said, even once you take that into account it still comes out on top. |

Yes, that's my real age.

I don't know if it's underrated but squid girl shocked the crap out of me. I was hooked within 5 minutes. The opening song was not enjoyable however. Not a fan of j-pop. ~_~

Most stuff loses its soul or just runs out of steam once it becomes too popular anyway. |

O no it's still going on, but I meant I wished the anime continued, the arcs after the anime in the manga are really good IMO, too gory I guess for them. |
