Seems like Fate Zero will be delayed 1 week like last time... Well, as long as they broadcast it, I'm fine with it.

Hope the other show is EUREKA...

Why cant crunchyroll have all the newly released anime

While I and many others would welcome world domination of the international anime market by CR, that isn't a possibility.

Running a legal business (like CR is) or playing by the rules of whatever country you live in means following copyright law. It's a micro monopoly where the broadcaster/anime producer holds all the cards. There is no forced universal licensing or per pay distribution scheme; heck, the copyright holder doesn't even have to license their wares if they don't want to. CR has to follow that system, which includes bidding against other competitors for rights to available shows (like Funimation), so sometimes they get the rights to shows, sometimes they don't.

Don't follow the rules, they get a DMCA takedown request, megadownload'd (shutdown), and/or even possibly subject their users to scrutiny by government types (what happens when servers get hauled in as evidence). Personally, I'm happy they play by the rules and I'll happy watch ads or pay a small premium for their service. CR then ends up being a factor in getting legal anime to more markets, and hopefully creates (financial) incentive for more anime to be released outside of Japan (streaming, digital copy, DVD, Blu-ray).

CR sure has done well in going for quantity this season. Though it's very disheartening to not see sequels, particularly Kore Zombie. I have not maintained any awareness of what's being streamed off-site (official), I think I'll have to have a look.

Kore wa Zombie II confirmed to be licensed by Funimation, along with the new Lupin III and Jourmugand anime
we still got a lot of new anime to choose from on CR though, so i'm still happy nonetheless, just means that i'll have to watch Kore wa Zombie on the Funi site

It exists because the episode is actually airing right now in Japan. The second season was announced months ago but it seems Crunchyroll isn't getting it.

Nope, at least two more coming, because the lineup has two more boxes.

And they don't put boxes up until the contracts are signed, so if they are still negotiating for something, and sign one or more new contracts this week, they'll put new boxes up. The longest delay I remember was Giant Killing, which was signed 7 weeks into the season.

No telling. Crunchyroll expressed an interest in it, of course, because Crunchyroll expresses an interest in everything. If the cards are getting put out in the US, the publisher would want the anime to be available.

(1) its delayed because someone else bid for it, which leads to (1a) Crunchyroll gets it, or (1b) someone else gets it.
(1b) Crunchyroll can negotiate for a sublicense, which could be a further delay, and the negotiation could succeed or fail

(2) its delayed because Crunchyroll is in the middle of expanding the region rights, but (2a) the new contract has not been signed, sealed and delivered or (2b) the contract has been signed, sealed and delivered and they are sorting out how fast it can be subtitled.

So either someone else got it or Crunchyroll got it or both, and either for fewer countries than got Cardfight Vanguard or the same countries or more countries.

tl;dr: when someone announces it, Crunchyroll or someone else, we'll know more.

Damn, 5 of 5... 5 shows from the lineup seemed interesting to watch this season, but none is available in my region...

How about gdgd Fairies?

It premiered 10/12/2011 (U.S. time) and the first episode posted to CR on 11/30/2011, which is 49 days, or exactly 7 weeks. It appears one would need to look at the actual dates for Giant Killing to determine which one "wins".

Either way you slice it, however, precedent seems to favor that if CR hasn't gotten a series after 7 weeks, one might as well write it off.
